We at the Othello-UW Commons are hosting a community feedback event.

The purpose is to gives folks an opportunity to visit the site and:

– See the design plan

– Hear proposed goals

– Provide feedback

What: Othello-UW Commons Community Feedback Nights with light refreshments.

When: Day 1:  Tuesday September 11th 3-5pm    OR   Day 2: Tuesday September 25th at 3-5pm

Where: Othello UW Commons (4200 S. Othello St., Seattle, WA 98118).

About Othello-UW Commons

The Othello-UW Commons is a learning and collaboration space for community partners as well as UW students, faculty and staff. The Commons is expected to open late Fall 2018. The Commons will prioritize sustained partnerships that embrace the UW’s commitment to learning from and with local communities.

Academic departments at the UW are committed to sharing resources and classes that can help address needs and hopes identified by people in Southeast Seattle, from community health and youth development to lifelong learning and social policy. Conversations with local residents inform the vision for the Othello-UW Commons. The University will continue to ask and to listen, and to shape programming that supports Southeast Seattle’s vision of sustaining an equitable, inclusive and welcoming community.
