Attend the RB Coalition Action Team Meeting, this Thursday, September 16, 2010, 6:30 p.m., at the Rainier Beach Family Center (inside Rainier Beach Community Center 8825 Rainier Ave)

Parking available in South Shore School parking lot next door.

At this gathering we will

1. Hear about programs operated by the community and residents that is focused on making the neighborhood a safer place.

Some of these programs include:

  • Rainier Beach Block Watch Group
  • The Seattle Neighborhood Group
  • POCAAN’s CURB Program
  • South Seattle Crime Prevention Council
  • CHAMP’s
  • YMCA’s Alive and Free program

2.  Create ideas to insure neighborhood involvement in public safety issues in Rainier Beach

3. Demonstrate civic engagement principals that make our meetings efficient and productive.
