Pho Van Mural

If you’re by Safeway sometime over the next week, make sure you take a minute to walk across the parking lot and check out the old Pho Van restaurant’s new paint job! Rainier Beach: A Beautiful Safe Place for Youth and Seattle Neighborhood Group are collaborating to create a massive community mural on all 4 sides of the restaurant. Be proud! This mural was designed and painted by the community, for the community! It’s meant to tell our story, foster appreciation for the arts, and change the atmosphere. This is the latest in our ongoing efforts to activate community, and create beautiful, safe spaces for youth.
