Guess what?! We are gearing up for our 2nd Annual Fundraising Event! Today is also the first day of Washington Gives GiveBIG 2024, Washington’s largest giving day!

Join us on Saturday, June 1, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Ethiopian Community in Seattle’s (ECS) African Village for a celebration of “Food and Culture: Celebrating Diversity and Innovation” with Rainier Beach Action Coalition. The goal of the event is to shine a light on our Food Innovation Center and the rich tapestry of cultures in Rainier Beach!

We are thrilled to have you join us for an inspiring day filled with delicious food, captivating performances, a very special keynote, and the opportunity to connect with fellow community members and our wonderful staff!

Why You Should Attend

Our fundraiser is not just about raising funds. It’s about coming together as a community to support a cause close to our hearts. With a goal of $30,000, every ticket purchased and every donation made at the luncheon helps us continue our mission of positive change in Rainier Beach.

You can also double your impact through GiveBIG! And this year, RBAC’s GiveBig goal is tied to our annual fundraiser goal. GiveBIG is a 48-hour giving event in Washington where individuals and organizations come together across Washington to invest in our communities.

By purchasing a ticket to our luncheon or simply donating through GiveBIG, you’re not only supporting our cause but helping us reach new heights of success and sustainability for our community. Together, we can amplify our impact and make a difference in our neighborhood!
