Congrats to south shore k-8 school student Rena Mateja Walker Burr for raising money for homeless kids. Instead of gifts for her sixth birthday, Rena Mateja requested donations to help homeless children. Those gifts brought her total to $506. She had gotten help from family and friends , neighbors. Asking for whatever they could give her to help. And over the 4 years she has worked to raise $123,510 to help homeless children.
