The Rainier Beach Music and Arts Festival – BAAMFest – is fast approaching!

Held this year on SATURDAY JULY 22, FROM 11AM TO 7PM, at the Rainier Beach Community Center and South Shore School Campus, where Rainier Avenue S meets S Henderson Street, a mere 3 blocks from the light rail station. BAAMFest is a cultural extravaganza with FOUR STAGES of music, dance, spoken word, visual arts, food, artists and MORE! Headliners include jazz artist Michael Powers, multi-genre Love City Love, R&B Rockers OBGs and B-Boys Massive Monkeys. We are featuring a special exhibit “The Unspoken Truths” from the American History Traveling Museum, along with a wonderful art installation by Rainier Beach High School students. THIS IS A MUST-SEE EVENT! A reported 10,000 people attended in 2016, seeing the best of what Rainier Beach has to offer our region.
