Crowd-funding Campaign to Provide Lab Equipment at Rainier Beach HS

Teachers United has selected  Gearing Up! a project proposed by Rainier Beach High School teacher Louise Wong, to support through its Build Your Vision program.

Ms. Wong needs community support to buy eight cutting-edge lab sets for her science classroom; each set includes an Exo Labs microscope camera and an iPad with integrated technology. Rainier Beach students will use the lab sets to think critically about science and work together on complex experiments that will help them master Washington’s rigorous Next Generation Science Standards.

The goal is to raise $1,000 more in the first two weeks of February. $1,000 supports the purchase of one lab set for Louise’s classroom!
