During the week of May 1-7, 2011,  individuals and groups will perform and/or report on acts of justice across Seattle, with a special focus on the Rainier Valley.

All across Seattle for an entire week you are invited to engage in or report on an Act of Justice. Share your report, along with a photo or video, on this facebook page.

And then join in the celebration on May 7, 2011, from 6-8 pm at Life Enrichment Bookstore (5023 Rainier Ave S).

The point of all this? To open up a discourse about justice and get people moving towards building a more just world for us all. We are trying to create a huge, noticeable impact on the city, so it is impossible to go the entire week without encountering something justice related.

The Rainier Beach Community Empowerment Coalition is supporting this effort under the Lift Every Voice Campaign by plotting reports to our Mapping the Dream project, where people who do not have FaceBook accounts can also submit their reports.

Each day next week, we’ll highlight one or more report from the 1000 Acts of Justice project.
