Mayor Mike McGinn is scheduled to meet with residents of the Rainier Beach Community on Thursday, September 30, 2010 to discuss public safety. This important meeting is open to the public and will be a unique opportunity for neighbors to share their concerns around the growing violence (shootings, burglaries, etc.) in SE Seattle. It will also be a time to hear how the Mayor and public officials are planning to address the problems and work with community to ensure that Rainier Beach is a safe and healthy community.
