The Community Center for Education Results (CCER) and the League of Education Voters invite the public to attend a special presentation by Kevin Johnson.

After an all-star career in the NBA, Kevin Johnson went back to his hometown of Sacramento, CA on a mission to lift kids off the path to poverty through community engagement, quality educational opportunities, and after-school programs. Now the Mayor of Sacramento, Johnson was named by Arne Duncan co-chair of a mayoral advisory council focused on federal education issues, and also leads a U.S. Conference of Mayors task force on K-12 public schools.
