The Corners Greeters on July 1st got a chance to visit King County’s Renton Wastewater Treatment plant.  They learned how water gets filtered and how compost is made from solid waste. 

 

Aside from their owning learning, the Corner Greeters are also teaching the next generation. On Saturday, July 27th  Messiah, Jeremiah, and Ken met with some youth from New Holly. The youth learned how to post headlines, conduct interviews, and the core principles of journalism.  The youth absorbed all they learned and will take it out to the field for their upcoming Night Out event.
