Topic – Economic Development in RB…what does it look like?

At the meeting we will:

1. Hear and talk about projects the Rainier Beach Merchants Association has planned for our neighborhood.

2. Create ideas to ensure neighborhood involvement in the economic development activity in Rainier Beach

3. Demonstrate civic engagement principles that make our meetings efficient and productive.

Economic Development priorities for the Rainier Beach neighborhood as identified

at the RB Town Hall Meeting are:

A. Support workforce housing projects in Rainier Beach

B. Hiring local contractors for development projects

C. Sustain local businesses – provide jobs to local residents
