The next Town Hall is on March 12th at South Shore from 6-8, and will focus on food justice, more specifically RBAC’s impending Food Innovation Center. Town Halls give the community a chance to voice their thoughts around what’s happening in Rainier Beach. The Town Hall wouldn’t be possible without our Town Hall Planning Team. The team meets every other Tuesday from 12-2pm  to make decisions regarding food, venue, activities, scheduling, etc. These meetings are open to members of the community if you would like to come and give your input.

If you can’t make a planning meeting we are having a campaign leading up to the Town Hall that anyone can participate in. “We want to hear your experiences with Food & Health and Food Access (Where do you get your food?). Please share a picture on Social Media using #RBFoodStories that illustrates some of your challenges, your favorite food store, chef or home dish, whatever story you’d like to tell……(Check out this example below)
